New Year, New You: Eliminate Facial Wrinkles With The Liquid Face Lift
Beverly Hills, CA – January 8, 2009 – 2009’s latest advancement in anti-aging aesthetic procedures is… a liquid? That’s right, you no longer need to go under the knife to look younger. 2009 is all about the Liquid Face Lift. No more scarring, bruising, or long recovery periods.
Dr. Sam Assassa, a non-surgical cosmetic physician in Beverly Hills, is now offering the Liquid Face Lift to his clients. The Liquid Face Lift combines advanced dermal fillers such as, Botox® to create an aesthetic treatment unlike any other non-invasive face lift procedure.
“Liquid Face Lift procedures generally take around an hour and patients can return to most normal routines the next day,” said Dr. Assassa. “You get the results of a traditional face lift, minus the pain, expense and inconvenience.”
The procedure is done at Dr. Assassa’s Beverly Hills cosmetic surgery office and multiple techniques employed to create the perfect look. First, Botox is used to soften fine wrinkles around the eyes, lift the eyebrows and relax the forehead, then dermal fillers contour and sculpt the face, which completes the Liquid Face Lift. This combination effectively eliminates facial wrinkles and tightens up loose skin, especially around the jaw and cheek area.
Beverly Hills Aesthetics specializes in non-surgical aesthetics, specifically focusing on a variety of non-invasive face lift techniques. The highly trained staff and state-of-the-art facilities make for a comfortable and professional experience for all patients.
“We are highly specialized in the area of non-surgical face lift procedures. I am one of the first aesthetic surgeons to bring the Liquid Face Lift to Beverly Hills,” said Dr. Assassa. “The combination of Botox and advanced dermal fillers has delivered results that surpass the results of the top experts in the field of facial rejuvenation.”

Getting Botox in Los Angeles has become about as common as getting your haircut, getting a manicure or even going to the gym. What used to be a hush-hush procedure deflected by starlets who credited their smooth skin to good genes and sunscreen is now so common that even young actresses regularly admit to using Botox.

There is certainly nothing wrong with using Botox to look “fresh and rested” as Full House alum and 90210 actress Lauri Loughlin says in the latest issue of People Magazine. Loughlin is among many famous actresses profiled in the magazine who discuss using Botox to help keep them looking fresh in front of the camera.
“I believe in getting just a little bit,” said actress Jenny McCarthy. “It allows you to keep mobility in your face, it’s a great little secret.”
Dr. Sam Assassa, an aesthetic surgeon in Beverly Hills regularly treats patients with Botox to achieve not only a younger look but also a generally fresher appearance.
“It is important to go to an aesthetic surgeon who knows how to use Botox to best improve your looks and work with your face,” said Dr. Assassa. “You cannot treat everyone the same with Botox, it is not a one-size-fits-all procedure. When done correctly, Botox is not overly obvious, but dramatically improves skins appearance and gives patients a youthful glow.”

The economy may be in a slump, but the aesthetic surgery industry is getting a boost from the current economic climate.
MarketWatch.com, part of The Wall Street Journal’s empire, published an article detailing current trends in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery as determined by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. While traditional cosmetic procedures such as breast implants and liposuction saw dramatic decreases, services like Botox and Smart Lipo saw rapid increases in the number of services performed.
As patients opt for less-expensive aesthetic procedures, non-invasive cosmetic surgeons like Dr. Sam Assassa of Beverly Hills Aesthetics are sure to see a continued rise in demand for their services.
“In the current economy, of course people are going to opt for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures,” said Dr. Assassa. “They are less expensive, and a great alternative when downtime is not an option – people simply can’t leave work for weeks at a time to recover from traditional cosmetic surgery.”

Let’s be honest. We all know a few people that could afford to lay off the Botox for a few months. Is it vanity? Yes, but it is also a very real obsessive compulsion that drives people towards looking younger and younger.
Recent studies suggest that women across the country are “binging” on Botox, resulting in frozen faces completely devoid of any lines. Aside from being cosmetic, these “binges” have psychological roots in obsessive-compulsive disorder, and body dysmorphic disorder.

Suffering from so-called “Wrinklerexia,” some Botox-devotees become so obsessed with their crease-free image they begin to see lines where there are none and binge on Botox to get a freeze-frame face.
So how can you tell if you need Botox or a reality check?
First, make sure your doctor is actually trained to do Botox procedures. Some individuals claim to be proficient in the procedure, when in reality they are not medical professionals trained to handle medical procedures. Discuss your feelings with your doctor and heed their advice. If they feel it’s best to wait on the Botox, don’t argue!
Second, if you do have a Botox procedure, make sure your expectations for results are realistic for your age, and skin type. Expecting to eliminate every line and wrinkle in a few procedures is not safe or advisable.

Everyone wants to look younger, thinner, and more radiant.
Not everyone however, is a candidate for cosmetic procedures like fillers, injectables, and Smart
Lipo.
In the interest of utilizing cosmetic procedures only when they are truly warranted to achieve a better appearance, consider these questions:
Body Sculpting and Smart Lipo
• Have you attempted weight loss through diet and exercise?
• Do you have loose skin or pockets of fat from recent weight loss that requires cosmetic intervention?
• Are your problem areas localized?
• Do you have realistic expectations for your results?
Fillers and Injectables
• Do you follow a skin care routine?
• Do you stay out of the sun or use sunscreen when outdoors?
• Can your skin be rejuvenated through peels or skincare procedures other than injectables and fillers?
Discussing these questions and their answers with your physician will help you to determine what procedures, if any, are right for you. Contact us at Beverly Hills Aesthetics for more information today.

How to achieve younger looking skin is one of the most sought after secrets of the beauty world – especially the Beverly Hills beauty world.
Although these skin secrets are frequently discussed and romanticized, very few people know how to achieve it. Lucky for us, the very real and achievable answer lies in the hands of Dr. Assassa at Beverly Hills Aesthetics.
Photopeel™, now offered by Dr. Assassa, is one of the most painless and non-invasive skin-rejuvenation methods that can virtually eliminate skin imperfections. Age spots, scars, large pores, wrinkles, rosacea, spiders, and even pre-cancerous skin lesions can all be eradicated with just a few simple treatments.
Photopeel™ provides all the benefits of a chemical peel but with less pain and downtime. It is a simple procedure involving applying a substance called Levulan® onto the skin, which is then activated by specific wavelengths of intense light. The targeted areas of skin absorb the light’s energy causing a cellular repair that restores a smoother, more youthful appearance to the skin. Typically, only two or three treatments are needed to achieve maximum results.
